Give us a brief overview of your Becketts back-story

I joined Becketts in June 2026 to head up the Compliance function and look at how we are communicating with our clients. I have held senior roles at previous firms, mainly focussed around the paraplanning function of the business, but heavily involved in all aspects of delivering advice.

What do you most like about your job?

That all aspects of what we do end up benefitting our clients. It’s extremely satisfying to know that the compliance side of the company is seen as an enhancement to client service and positively influences the results our clients see. Becketts is a collaborative environment and I believe the best outcomes arrive when you seek and listen to diverse opinions.

What are your money weaknesses?

Food and guitars. I now have 8 guitars but nowhere to put them.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever spent your money on?

I can’t really pinpoint any one thing – I’m not particularly materialistic. Experiences that the family can enjoy together are always worth it.

I also once spent £1 on an instant win lottery game and won two tickets to Wimbledon centre court for the 2012 Olympics.

What matters most to you?

Family – 100%. Making sure my kids have a happy childhood.

I used to play guitar in a death metal band.
