Andrew joined Becketts in 2018.  He “married into” the Becketts family – which is cheating, really. We let him stay because he says it’s great to be a part of a family business that values a strong moral compass.

Andrew’s role as Operations Manager supports the entire business. This allows the business to function at its best. Andrew oversees adviser training and competency, coordinates marketing, and loves to welcome clients to Beckett House.

What do you most like about your job?
The broad scope means the variety of tasks that might come my way makes every day interesting and slightly unpredictable!

What are you most proud of?
I’m proud that Becketts is recognised at a regional and national level by way of industry awards. Similarly, coordinating and leading the team in pursuit of BS8577 accreditation.

Are you a spender or a saver?
I think Yorkshire only produces savers.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever spent your money on?
I’ve been very fortunate to travel to some amazing places around the world – any spending on things like a skydive in New Zealand, a Japanese rail pass, watching cricket in India and a visa for Bhutan would all be up there!
