Andy’s key roles for Becketts are ever-evolving as he continues his journey in the business. He has successfully negotiated his professional exams and is well on his way to achieving chartered status. As a natural at building new and nurturing existing relationships, we’re excited about Andy’s evolution within Becketts.

What are you most proud of?
It’s hard to pick just one, so I’ll give you two…

Firstly, I’m incredibly proud of my family and everything they’ve built. From Mum and Dad laying the foundations, to the way they instilled in me and Dominic the values of hard work and always putting clients first. Now, working closely with Dominic and James, I feel lucky to be learning from two people I have huge respect for and who are at the very top of the industry.

On a personal level, I’m proud of balancing the demands of studying and passing my exams while in my 30s and raising a young family – a journey that challenges me every day, I love it!

I’d be lying if I didn’t also mention golf. Earning a scholarship to an American university and representing my country in Australia were massive highlights and experiences I’ll never forget.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever spent your money on?
Well, this is easy. The engagement ring for my wife, Gina. She’s the best investment I have, and will ever make.

What makes you happy?
I could go on and on here. I’m a big believer in the “work hard, play hard” philosophy. I genuinely think the two go hand-in-hand and bring out the best in each other.

But above all, it’s family that matters most. Getting home to see my sons, Oscar and Hugo, our two dogs, Codie and Phoebe, and of course my wife — that’s where I find real happiness and perspective.

Outside of work, I’m happiest when I’m out on the golf course, especially on a sunny day. I’ve recently picked up pádel too. What a brilliant game! It’s fast-paced, fun, and a great way to switch off.

And lastly, I have to mention my love of good food and great wine. I’m always on the lookout for new places to eat and I’m slowly indulging a growing fascination with the wine industry as a whole.
