Jade first came to Becketts’ attention a few years ago, having worked in financial planning for several years and, with an eye on talented “next generation” financial planners, we were thrilled when Jade saw a role at Becketts as the next step in her career!

Jade joined Becketts in January 2025, as the second adviser based at our Becketts Yorkshire office.

What part do you play at Becketts?

Looking after clients and building the Yorkshire office dream along with the rest of the team. My job is to ensure that clients make the most of their wealth, whilst we take care of everything in the background to facilitate them achieving their lifestyle goals.

What do you most like about your job?

In short – it’s changing clients’ lives for the better.

Financial planning isn’t just about numbers, it’s about giving people confidence in their future. Every client has unique goals, concerns, and aspirations, and being able to guide them toward financial security and peace of mind is incredibly rewarding.

What are you most proud of?

Earning my Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society while working a full-time job. It took a lot of dedication, but it’s one of my greatest achievements.

What are your money weaknesses?

Gadgets that I think will make my life easier but invariably turn out to be the latest fad!

What’s the best thing you’ve ever spent your money on?

Holidays — experiences and memories are worth every penny.
