Laura joined Becketts in July 2026 to have a change of career from teaching Performing Arts to be closer to home and spend more time with her family.

Laura’s role sits at the centre of the Becketts Connect client journey, acting as a point of co-ordination between clients, advisors and administrators to ensure an exceptional client experience. Laura’s job is to ensure every client receives a professional, proactive and well-organised service from their initial enquiry through to their continued financial planning advice.

What do you like most about your job?

So far, learning! I love learning and this role is completely different to my previous career in teaching, so there is lots to get stuck into!

What are you most proud of?

My professional performing career. As the arts is such a competitive industry, I am so proud that I worked professionally as a dancer and singer for many years after putting so much hard work into my professional training.

What matter most to you?

This is going to sound very spiritual, but happiness and inner peace. Life is short and you have to grab every moment and enjoy it.

Favourite app?

Spotify. I love listening to music all day, every day. Our house is filled with music constantly and I love listening to different genres depending on my mood. Spotify soundtracks my life!

Name the three people at your dream dinner?

Olivia Attwood, Olivia Bowen and Amber Davies. They all started on Love Island but have since carved out incredibly successful careers in the public eye and have become fabulous business women!
