Becketts needed a local to join the mission in the region and Andrew answered the call!

Andrew joined the firm in July 2024 as the first ‘Yorkshire’ hire and has loved every minute of it so far. He is here to grow this arm of the business and help the clients of the region.

What part do you play at Becketts?

My part at Becketts is simple; to make a real difference in people’s lives, make the complex simple and deliver high-quality financial planning, with integrity, so that my clients can go and enjoy the things that they want to do.

What do you most like about your job?

Everything! I love speaking with and getting to know clients, I love Financial Planning, I love investments, I love solving the complex and making it simple!

What are your money weaknesses?

I can never say no to a fancy coffee whilst out and about.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever spent your money on?

That would be my best friend, my cocker spaniel Barney! We bought him during lockdown and he has been my little shadow ever since. Although he can sometimes be a little bit naughty, he has a kind soul and always tries his best.

Favourite podcast?

That would probably be The News Agents with Jon Sopel, Emily Maitlis and Lewis Goodall. I’ve been listening to it everyday since it came whilst walking the dog.
