After 17 years in other areas of Financial Services, a passing comment at the gym resulted in Nick sitting down with Dom – quickly followed by a meeting with James. He was blown away on both occasions (his words) and not long after, here he is!

Nick joined the Becketts Connect side of the business in February 2024 and has started his journey towards becoming a qualified financial adviser.

What do you most like about your job?

That we can help people plan for and enjoy their future, hopefully with a little less worry about how they are going to pay for it. (Plus, an office with a view of the fields and great team of people to work with)

What are you most proud of?

Professionally, that I have never been afraid to take on something new and jump into the unknown with both feet. Outside of work, it has to be my little boy.  Watching him learn and grow every day makes me hugely proud

Are you a spender or a saver?

A bit of both, I like nice things and don’t mind spending money but it has to feel worth it.  I spend far too much time on the internet shopping around for things before clicking buy
