A Poulton-le-Fylde resident, James has known the McLoughneys for over 15 years. He joined Dominic as Co-Director in January 2020 and hasn’t looked back!

He says his time with the best small financial planning firm in the UK is both fun and rewarding. Especially looking after their loyal clients. James plays an important role in investment management, regulatory compliance and business strategy.

What are you most proud of?
I’m proud of the legacy of my financial planning work over the last 20 years. To see a family enjoy what they treasure most and to have played my part in that is very rewarding.

What are your money weaknesses?
I’m a serial dally-er. I can “umm and arr” over a potential purchase. Often until the thing is no longer available to buy! I do tend to know exactly when the deal is right.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever spent your money on?
I am partial to a bicycle or two (or n+1, with ‘n’ being the number of bikes already owned). The lighter and faster the better!
