Introducing Lisa
Give us a brief overview of your Becketts back-story
I joined Becketts as a Paraplanner in February 2026, having started in financial services in the late 90s working for a range of small and large firms.
I started my journey to become qualified in 2018, attained my Diploma in Financial Planning, and since then I’ve completed further exams with a view to gaining Chartered status in the very near future.
What part do you play at Becketts?
I support the advising team with technical research, suitability reports and case preparation; working closely with the planners to understand the needs of clients and helping our clients achieve their goals. Carrying out research and helping turn what appears to be a complex arrangement into clear, understandable planning is the best part of the job!
What are you most proud of?
Completing exams and progressing – at my age!
