As all equinox observers know, this Saturday marks the midpoint of the year, celestially speaking.
So, what does that mean for us?
Do we reflect on how far we’ve come since the start of the year? Or do we look ahead to see what we can do with the six months we have left?
With our mantra of “Make the most of it” – we’re very much in the latter camp.
That said, a quick look back is well worth it – as we need to reflect on the fantastic day we spent at the Whit Friday celebrations in Saddleworth last week!
With our Pennines presence coming up to a year old this summer, it was a brilliant way of celebrating the work we’ve done to get to where we are, seeing and hearing all the best that Saddleworth has to offer and continuing to build our new bonds in the area.

As Becketts has grown over the past year, new challenges have naturally followed. One key area being supporting our colleagues through the regulatory demands in our profession.
This is why we were delighted to welcome Sue Counsell to Becketts last month – a financial planning veteran with over 40 years of experience in the North-West. Sue will play a vital role in strengthening our compliance oversight, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge of having seen and done it all before!

Looking ahead, our team walks – “Becketts Rambles” – are still going strong, with our next outing taking us around Hurst Green and Stonyhurst. If you’re a keen walker, we’d love to hear your suggestions for future routes!
