As we look to shake off the rain and frost-swept last few days weeks months, we are finally turning out attention to the warmth of Christmas.
If you are not heading into Christmas at 100mph with last-minute shopping, family plans, school nativities, etc. then, firstly – congratulations!
For that reason, taking the time to reflect on the past year usually comes later in the season with the chimes of New Year. However, as the Becketts office closes for the Christmas holidays on Thursday 21st Dec (and returns Thursday 4th January 2024), then we need to get our reflections in now…
Being at the forefront of active wealth management, we are seldom closed off from global events or geopolitical uncertainty – bringing its own element of mental fatigue to our daily lives or “headline stress disorder”. It can be a lot to take in (and too much to summarise the impact in what should be a breezy end-of-year Christmas message!)
But we get it – our mantra remains to cut through the noise and present our financial plans and investment analysis in a clear and easily understandable way. Our cups are already often full before adding any unnecessary complexity to proceedings just for the sake of it. We’re here to lighten your load, not add to it!
What we can promise in 2024 is that we will continue to seek improvement in every facet of our business, while retaining our family values of trust and transparency.
2024 will see us unveil the evolution of our investments solutions, something we have been working on for over two years. We are delighted and excited in equal measure as the project comes closer to implementation. The sneak preview is… bigger team, greater challenge, more research and unlike many of our peers, no additional cost – just pure benefit.
Being able to demonstrate “fair value” is an increasingly key determinant of what a successful and modern financial planning firm looks like.
