In our last Team News piece in April, we mentioned about being excited to be finalists in the Adviser Firm of the Year category for the North-West at the Professional Adviser Awards.
Well, if you saw our press release and social media at the end of April – you will know that not only did we win the North-West award, but we were also the overall winner for the UK!
Naturally, we are (and continue to be), absolutely thrilled with this recognition, which has been nearly 20 years in the making.
This means for the next six months at least, we hold two national Advice Firm of the Year titles by two of the industry’s leading magazines…
Unsurprisingly, there is plenty of competition for these accolades – so although we may not retain them forever, to know that we are operating at the top table as one of the best small financial planning firms in the UK is exactly where we want to be.
Perhaps that’s enough self-congratulating for now – although we do hope of course that such news for you, our clients, acts as a fillip to our work with you and that you are in the most capable of hands… officially!
A quick “one more thing” on achievements, is that Ben and Mark both passed their latest Chartered exams, and without over-doing the pressure, they are more than round the last bend and halfway down the final straight – very, very close indeed.
Client Services Assistant, Andrew McLoughney has also whistled out of the blocks with his own exams towards achieving Diploma status, passing two of the six required exams since Christmas.
This month we are welcoming awards judges to Beckett House for the first time, as we are three-category finalists at this year’s Lancashire BiBA awards. Not only an opportunity to give the office a spring clean, but also to show off what we think a modern professional services firm looks like, which we are very excited about!
Two of the categories we are finalists in revolve around client service – therefore a very big thank you to anyone who leaves a Google review. Our reviews were brought up by two different judges who were keen to find out more!
Reviews act as a great window into the business for anyone who doesn’t know us – and in a world where evidence of customer satisfaction is being sought both by the financial regulator and consumers alike (and the multiplying factor of finding reliable information on the internet!), reviews directly from clients cut through this with ease. So a big thank you once again…
