We opened in 2022 much like we ended 2021… at full speed!
If it’s not following our “continuous improvement” philosophy, then stock market activity will always keep us on our toes – as it has done in the opening weeks of 2022.
To that end, if you haven’t seen James and Dom’s investment market update, we would encourage you to do so!
It also only took us three weeks into January to win our first award of the year – which was retaining “Financial Planning Company of the Year” in Corporate LiveWire’s Prestige awards for Manchester and the North-West. We’ll look to make it three in a row next year!
Speaking of awards, January saw the Becketts advisers tackle a fictional case study as part of our entry in the Professional Adviser awards, with the goal of defending the crown we won last year – Adviser Firm of the Year (North-West). The awards night is held at the end of April so please keep an eye out in future editions to check in on our progress!
Ben and Mark both sat Chartered exams (AF5) at the start of February, with results due next month. Meanwhile, Dom and James have enrolled to sit a Chartered level exam of their own in March – please join us in wishing everyone the best of luck!
Also in the interests of continuous improvement, this week we were very excited to launch our fully revamped website! It has been a few months in the making, partnering with Plott Creative, including a full office photoshoot back in November (when it was somehow sunny) and a whole new copy written as we encourage clients to Make the Most of It – please dive in and take a look!
We hope that our new site successfully communicates our authenticity – that existing clients can see this for themselves and new clients see us for who we are – standing out from the crowd of independent financial advisers.
