Becketts has walked away with Advice Firm of the Year at the Money Marketing Awards 2022, held in London last week.
As a brilliant bonus, the win was a double, as Becketts also won “Next Generation Advice Firm of the Year” – focused on the innovative and modern ways in which financial planning firms go about their business.
The awards, ran by financial services magazine Money Marketing, recognises the very best advisers and providers the sector and country has to offer. Several rounds of shortlisting take place before the judges comb through each entry and decide on a winner.
We are absolutely thrilled to be the recipient of both awards – having been Highly Commended in the “NextGen” award last year, and it being our first ever shortlisting for “Advice Firm of the Year”.
With our target to become, ‘the UK’s best small financial planning practice’, being recognised on a national scale in such a way we feel cements our position in the upper echelons of the best Chartered financial planning firms in the country, as our co-Director, Dominic McLoughney expressed,
“It is one of my proudest working moments… it’s been a huge team effort and an incredible result for a firm size. A big well done and thank you to the whole team at Becketts and all of our professional partners.”
He continues, “We’ve set a goal to be the best small financial planning practice in the UK, and that is only possible when everyone is totally focused on being the best they can be.”
“Receiving industry recognition on a national scale, for our hard work and commitment in providing our amazing clients with the best planning and wealth management possible, is incredibly rewarding.”
James Thompson, fellow co-Director at Becketts, added, “It’s been a massive team effort to get to this point – it’s an amazing result.”
However, with one of our key business philosophies being continuous improvement, we see it not as a time to sit on our laurels, but to continue building and investing in our client services – to offer the best possible high-quality, diligent and unobstrusive financial-planning led wealth management in the country.
